The Closed Production System

• Bonsmara Natural Beef Company, LLC (the "Company") in Amarillo, Texas owns, and has exclusive rights to, all Bonsmara cattle in the United States.
  
• Genetics will be sold or leased to producer to provide both purebred Bonsmara cattle to grow the breed and commercial cattle to harvest.
  
• All Bonsmara influenced cattle will be registered with the company and these cattle may only be sold back to the company or another Bonsmara producer.
  
• Commercial Bonsmara influenced cattle will be purchased by the company at the regional Cattle-Fax price plus up to a $50.00 per head premium for weaned cattle and the premium increases with the percentage of the Bonsmara influence.

We avoid antibiotics because we want a naturally healthy cow. However, the animal's health is never compromised. If we inject an animal with antibiotics, it becomes a commercial animal.
